Welcome! I’m Kam and thank you for stopping by and taking a few moments to get to know me. I will write about everyday life, and let’s face it, there is a lot that goes on in everyday life! Life is “eclectic” – not static, always changing.
~ I live with my husband in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
I know it sounds cliché, but he truly is my best friend.
~ I have been a follower of Christ since the age of eight, when I attended vacation bible school one summer and decided that I too wanted a life with Christ. I work at growing my relationship with God daily. I believe that life here on earth is temporary, and that our relationships with one another are what matters in the end. I believe in living a life that gives glory to God, who gave everything to show his love for us. I am imperfect and learning, but so thankful that my imperfections are covered by His endless mercy, forgiveness, and grace.
~ I am a mom to two grown daughters and a grandma to two (and counting) awesome grandkids.
~ Along with full-time ministry, my husband and I enjoy urban homesteading which includes raising chickens, gardening and a lot of DIY.
I also enjoy making new things from old, shopping for old things that can be treasured, and creating my own unique items. Check out my Etsy shop. I have been crafting, sewing and creating since I first learned to knit at the age of 6.
~ In 2014 I had a double mastectomy done with lymph node removal after receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer. I then had 6 months of chemotherapy followed by reconstruction surgery. I am happy to share and/or answer questions about this journey. Just email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oh! And I’m also an obsessive organizer – just ask my husband, he can never find anything. 🙂
I’m looking forward to connecting with you, my readers, and find out more about who you are as well! Visit often and let me know you’re here via post comments, an email or follow along on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Instagram.
